Extraordinary Verse One These words I’m using sound so confusing; They’re nothing more than a cliché. I twist the meaning to fit the feeling; Extreme adjectives for the mundane. So often spoken with no connection To the power behind the words I say. Not realizing I’ve been desensitizing; Now all these words don’t carry any weight. I need to do it again and find The meaning of the words I say, Telling everyone what You are. Chorus You are phenomenal, superior, astonishingly beautiful. You are sensational, unmitigated, notably remarkable. You are the permanent Authority, the celebrated Champion. You are incomparable, incredible, predominantly wonderful. You are extraordinary. Verse Two When I speak of Your glory, I’m telling them of Your story. When I say “awesome”, I mean I stand in awe. Your name is holy; the word describes You only. How often we use it to tell of things so small. I say it without thinking, “Oh my God, you’re kidding!” So casually I speak Your name in vain. “Oh my God, I need You!” and now I say it to You. Comparitively, the two just aren’t the same. I need to do it again because I need to say just what I mean; I’m gonna mean just what I say. Fill Me Up Bridge Gonna come runnin’ back to You Gonna let You take me deeper Gonna go where You want me to Lord, You are my one desire Gonna give all my love to You Gonna follow You now forever Gonna do what Your word says to Lord, only You Chorus Fill me up with Your power Fill me up with Your love Tell me Lord, that I’m Your daughter Fill my heart with Your love Verse One The more I know You Lord, the more I need You. The more I see You, the more I see my sin. The more I hear You Lord, the more I crave You. Gonna let You have it all and start again; will You [chorus] Verse Two Thought I knew what full was before You filled me up. Livin’ life was all about those things I did. Thought I knew what love was, before You picked me up. Now livin’ life is all about the One I’m in, now You [chorus] Just Do It Chorus Just do it, don’t think about it Just say it, don’t worry about it Just move it, but don’t pray about it ‘Cause you don’t even know why you do it you just keep movin’ right along. So just get it, but don’t ask the Father, Just take it, you know, why even bother? Just buy it, but don’t look in your wallet ‘cause you don’t even know why you’re doin’ it you just keep movin’ right or wrong. Verse One “I gotta have it” you tell yourself won’t take “no” for an answer “I really need it”, you justify the reason, but it spells a disaster nobody dare tell you what you should do you live your life the way you want to believin’ you’re the one who’s the master and it’s all about you Verse Two Don’t need permission from anyone Just ignoring your conscience You really want it, and that’s the only reason It’s a material contest Give it some time just to figure it out No need to rush the decision It’s immediate gratification Makin’ you follow through Bridge Oh, you got all you need Well, what you’re feelin’ is greed You’re takin’ it now without thinking of how You can pay for it all when the creditors call Chorus Two So you just do it, but don’t worry about it Just say it, “I know that I can’t live without it” So you move it thinkin’ there’s no other way around it But you don’t even know why you do it You just keep movin’ right along So just get it, hopin’ you’ll forget about it Just take it, thinkin’ that there ain’t no tomorrow Just buy it, feelin’ no regret about it ‘cause you don’t even know why you’re doin’ it you just keep movin’ right or wrong So just do it. Only Believe Verse One How many times I’ve prayed that you’d come to know The power and the grace of His love I’m using simple words that’ll try to show The sacrifice He made through His Son There’s nothin’ I can say that’ll change your mind There’s nothin’ I can do to make you see The only time you’ll know of His love for you Is when you’ll see His Gift, and then receive If you would only believe Chorus I hear the questions in your mind I know your pain has made you blind I know I’ve pushed you too many times Some of my words have been unkind Can you see past it all this time? Verse Two I know to you my faith seems illogical I’ve taken this Jesus thing way too far The things I do and say might seem comical How could there be a God who holds my heart? There’s nothin’ I can say that’ll make it clear There’s nothin’ I can do to change the past The only way you’ll know that His love is real Is when you give your life to Him at last If you would only believe Vanity Insanity Chorus The vanity insanity is drivin’ me crazy When ev’rybody says you got to look so amazing The mirror mirror on the wall is telling me “Baby, you’re not as young as yesterday and girl, you need changin’” Verse One The higher the heel, the younger I start to feel Gotta watch my step now The line I’m walkin’ is mental captivity Hear the lie, “beauty lies inside ‘em” No matter what you’re gonna wear, the labels hangin’ out, Designer fabric to cover your fear, well girl you know It’s only the surface, the beauty’s not real Verse Two I’m singin’ this song to say how I really feel Gotta tell the truth now A little dose of some self-transparency I can’t lie, no use tryin’ to hide it The reflection starin’ back at me, with imperfections standin’ out Could look much better with an OTC remedy, but girl you know That nobody’s perfect, the beauty’s not real |
